    From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards Viale Vaticano. Turn left onto Viale Vaticano and continue straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). At the square, walk towards the colonnade and exit through the main entrance. Once outside, turn right and head towards the bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Piazza di Porta Maggiore' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 87 towards 'Termini'. After a few stops, get off at 'Piazza Zama'. Finally, it’s a short walk to Via della Caffarella where Ninfeo di Egeria is located.

    After visiting the Sistine Chapel, make your way back to the entrance of the Vatican Museums. From there, walk to the 'Ottaviano - San Pietro' metro station (Line A). Take the metro towards 'Anagnina' and get off at 'Termini' station. At Termini, transfer to the Metro Line B towards 'Laurentina' and get off at 'Piramide' station. After exiting the metro, walk to the bus terminal at the Piramide and take bus number 87 towards 'Valle Aurelia' and get off at 'Piazza Zama'. From there, it’s a short walk to Via della Caffarella where you will find Ninfeo di Egeria.
