Exit the Sistine Chapel and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once you reach the entrance, turn left and walk along Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Cross the street and then follow the signs towards St. Peter's Basilica. You will see the dome of the Basilica as you approach. Continue walking straight until you arrive at Piazza San Pietro, directly in front of St. Peter's Basilica.
