    Exit St. Peter's Basilica and head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Square. Once you are in the square, look for the exit that leads you to Via della Conciliazione. Walk straight along this road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight until you reach the Ottaviano metro station. From there, take Line A towards Anagnina. After 10 stops, get off at the 'Termini' station. Transfer to Line A again and take the metro towards Battistini. After 9 stops, get off at 'Lepanto' station. From there, exit the station and walk straight until you reach Piazza della Libertà. The Palazzo Pontificio will be on your right.
