  • Walking

    Exit St. Peter's Basilica and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican City. Once you are outside, walk straight towards the Vatican Museums entrance. From there, proceed to the nearby bus stop (located on Viale Vaticano) and take Bus 81 or Bus 492 towards Termini Station. Get off at the stop 'Nazionale/Quattro Fontane'. From there, walk for about 10 minutes towards Piazza Beniamino Gigli, which is the location of Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. The theater will be on your left.

    After exiting St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the Ottaviano metro station (about 15 minutes on foot). From the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica, walk straight along Via di Porta Castello until you reach the square at Castel Sant'Angelo. Turn right onto Via della Conciliazione and continue straight. Turn left onto Via Ottaviano. Once at the metro station, take the Metro Line A towards Anagnina. Get off at the 'Termini' station. From Termini, exit the station and walk to Piazza Beniamino Gigli, which is a 10-minute walk away, with the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma on your right.
