Walk straight through the square, following the path that leads you to the exit at the far end of the square. As you exit, you will see the entrance of the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli on your left at Piazza di San Pietro in Vincoli, 4/a. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from St. Peter's Square.

Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via di San Giovanni in Laterano.
