    If you are currently in the Vatican Gardens, exit the gardens through the main gate. Once you are outside, head towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. From there, walk down Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you directly to the Tiber River. At the end of the street, turn left onto Lungotevere in Augusta. Continue walking along Lungotevere in Augusta for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the Ara Pacis Museum, located on your right. Look for the large glass structure; that's the museum.

    From the Vatican Gardens, exit through the main gate and make your way to the nearest bus stop on Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 23 towards 'Piazza Risorgimento'. After about 5 minutes, get off at the 'Ponte Cavour' stop. From there, walk down Via di Ripetta until you reach Lungotevere in Augusta. Turn left and walk for about 5 minutes to find the Ara Pacis Museum on your right.
