From wherever you are in the Vatican Gardens, begin by heading towards the main pathway. Follow the signs that direct you to the exit of the gardens, as they will guide you through the beautiful scenery. Once you reach the exit gate, you will be on Viale Vaticano. Turn left and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at the entrance to the Vatican Museums, where you can purchase tickets to access the Sistine Chapel.

If you're already near the entrance area of the Vatican Gardens, simply exit the gardens and head towards the Vatican Museums entrance, which is well-marked. The Sistine Chapel is located within the Museums, and after entering, follow the signs to the Chapel. It will take approximately 15 minutes to walk from the Gardens to the Chapel entrance once you are in the Museums.
