From the Vatican Museums, exit the main entrance and turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach Piazza Cavour. From there, take a left onto Via Cicerone and continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street. You will see the MAXXI museum located at Via Guido Reni, 4a on your right.

From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Viale Vaticano/Porta Angelica'. Take bus number 49 towards 'Largo di Torre Argentina'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Piazza Cavour'. From there, transfer to tram line 2 towards 'Tiburtina'. Get off at 'Flaminio' and walk about 10 minutes to MAXXI, located at Via Guido Reni, 4a.
