If you're starting from the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano (Line A). Take the metro towards Anagnina and get off at the next stop, Lepanto. From Lepanto station, exit and walk towards Via Giulio Cesare. Look for bus stop 'Giulio Cesare' and take Bus 280 towards 'Piazza San Giovanni'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Piazza della Rovere'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Faro di Roma on Passeggiata del Gianicolo. Just follow the signs leading uphill to Gianicolo Hill.

If you're driving from the Colosseum, head northwest on Via di San Giovanni in Laterano towards Piazza di Porta San Giovanni. Continue on Via Merulana and follow the signs towards Gianicolo Hill. Once you reach Passeggiata del Gianicolo, look for parking options nearby, as street parking may be limited. The Faro di Roma is located right along the Passeggiata del Gianicolo, and you'll see it as you approach the path.

If you're already in the vicinity of Trastevere, the Faro di Roma is about a 20-minute walk away. Start by heading north on Via di San Francesco a Ripa until you reach Piazza Trilussa. Cross the Tiber River via the Ponte Sisto. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Via Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Garibaldi, and follow the road as it leads uphill, eventually turning into Passeggiata del Gianicolo. The Faro di Roma will be visible along this scenic walk.
