Walking
If you are in Trastevere, start by heading towards the Ponte Sisto bridge. Cross the bridge to reach the other side of the Tiber River. Once you cross the bridge, you will find yourself on Via Giulia. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto Via di San Francesco a Ripa. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Lungara. Turn right onto Via della Lungara and follow it until you see the entrance to the Botanical Garden on your left at Largo Cristina di Svezia.

From Trastevere, you can also take the bus. Head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 8, which goes towards 'Piazza Venezia'. Get off at the stop 'Lungotevere Raffaello Sanzio'. From there, walk along the river until you reach the intersection with Via della Lungara. Turn left onto Via della Lungara, and soon you will see the entrance to the Botanical Garden on your left at Largo Cristina di Svezia. Keep in mind that the bus ticket costs €1.50 and is valid for 100 minutes.
