Turn right onto Via di Porta Castello and continue straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, take a left onto Lungotevere in Augusta and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Appia Antica. Turn right onto Via Appia Antica, and you will see the Catacombe di San Callisto at Via Appia Antica, 110/126, on your left.

From Vatican Pinacoteca, walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza della Stazione di San Pietro. Take bus number 81 towards 'Grotte Vaticane.' After about 15 minutes, get off at the bus stop 'Appia Antica.' From there, walk approximately 10 minutes along Via Appia Antica, and the Catacombe di San Callisto will be located at Via Appia Antica, 110/126, on your left.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from a nearby rental service in Vatican City. Start by riding south on Viale Vaticano and continue to Via di Porta Castello. Follow the road until you reach the Tiber River, then cross over Ponte Sant'Angelo. Once across, ride along Lungotevere in Augusta. When you reach the intersection with Via Appia Antica, turn right and continue biking for approximately 20 minutes until you reach Catacombe di San Callisto at Via Appia Antica, 110/126.
