Exit the Vatican Pinacoteca and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once you reach the entrance, walk straight towards the main pathway leading to St. Peter's Basilica. Continue walking until you reach the large open area known as St. Peter's Square (Piazza San Pietro). As you approach the square, you will see the grand facade of St. Peter's Basilica in front of you. The St. Peter's Baldachin is located inside the basilica, directly under the dome. To enter, look for the entrance on the right side of the square, which leads into the basilica. Once inside, follow the signs that direct you to the altar and look upwards to see the impressive Baldachin designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
