If you are staying in the main village area of Stowe, begin your journey by heading northeast on Main Street toward the intersection with Mountain Road (Route 108). This should take about 10-15 minutes of walking. Once you reach Mountain Road, turn right and continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see the Stowe Mountain Resort entrance on your left. Continue on Mountain Road until you reach the Gondola Skyride entrance located at 7416 Mountain Rd. It should be clearly marked, and the gondola is a short walk from the parking area.
Biking
For those who prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Stowe. Head out from the village center towards Mountain Road (Route 108). Follow the same path as the walking route, but be cautious as some stretches may have traffic. The bike ride is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 10-15 minutes. The Gondola Skyride is located at 7416 Mountain Rd, which will be on your left after you pass the Stowe Mountain Resort entrance.
Public Transportation
