If you're driving, start from Cat Ba Town. Take the main road towards the southeast, following signs for Trân Châu. Continue on this road until you reach the fork. At the fork, take the road leading towards Trân Châu, which will lead you directly to Đỉnh Ngự Lâm. There is limited parking available near the entrance to the hiking trails.

To reach Đỉnh Ngự Lâm using public transport, head to the central bus station in Cat Ba Town. Look for buses heading towards Trân Châu. The ticket fare is usually around 20,000 VND. Once you arrive at Trân Châu, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to the entrance of the hiking trail. Follow the road signs towards Đỉnh Ngự Lâm.

After arriving in Trân Châu, if you prefer to walk, follow the main road that leads from the bus drop-off point. Keep an eye out for directional signs that indicate the hiking trail to Đỉnh Ngự Lâm.
