From Cat Ba Town, head southeast on Đường 1/4 (also known as the main road) toward the ferry terminal. Continue on this road for approximately 7 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and local villages. Follow the signs to Việt Hải. Once you reach the ferry terminal for Việt Hải, park your car and purchase a ferry ticket. The ferry ride to Việt Hải takes about 15-20 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs leading to Bãi tắm Vạn Bội which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the ferry drop-off point.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Cat Ba Town, take a local bus heading towards the ferry terminal. The bus runs frequently and the fare is around 20,000 VND (approximately $1). Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Việt Hải. After the 15-20 minute ferry ride, walk towards Bãi tắm Vạn Bội, which is about a 10-minute walk from the ferry landing. Be sure to check the ferry schedule for the return trip.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Cat Ba Town to take you to the ferry terminal. The taxi fare should be around 200,000 to 300,000 VND (approximately $8 to $13). Once you reach the ferry terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Việt Hải and enjoy the 15-20 minute ride. After arriving at Việt Hải, follow the signs to Bãi tắm Vạn Bội, which is a short 10-minute walk away.
