Getting There

Bus
From Hanoi's city center, make your way to the Giap Bat Bus Station (Bến xe Giáp Bát). You can take a taxi or use ride-sharing apps to reach there. Once at the bus station, look for buses heading to Vĩnh Phúc. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Ask the bus conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Tam Đảo National Park. After getting off, you can take a local taxi or motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to reach Km 13, Hồ Sơn, Tam Đảo.

Train
Head to Hanoi Railway Station (Ga Hà Nội). Purchase a ticket for a train heading towards Vĩnh Phúc. The journey should take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Vĩnh Phúc Railway Station, you can take a taxi or a local bus towards Tam Đảo. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they can drop you off at the entrance to Tam Đảo National Park.

Motorbike Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a motorbike in Hanoi. Navigate to the Tam Đảo District by following the signs that lead to Vĩnh Phúc. The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in the Tam Đảo area, follow the signs to Km 13, Hồ Sơn. Be prepared for some winding roads as you approach the national park.
