Getting There

• Walking

  If you are at Hoan Kiem Lake, start by walking towards Dinh Tien Hoang Street. From there, head towards Le Thai To Street. Continue straight until you reach Hang Gai Street, then turn left. Walk down Hang Gai until you reach the intersection with Hang Buom Street. Turn right onto Hang Buom Street, and continue until you reach Mã Mây Street. Heritage House will be on your left at 87 P. Mã Mây.

• Cyclo

  If you prefer to take a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi), find one near Hoan Kiem Lake and tell the driver you want to go to 87 P. Mã Mây, Hàng Buồm. The driver should take you through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, and you will arrive directly at the Heritage House, which is located on Mã Mây Street.

• Bicycle

  For those who want to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in the Old Quarter. Start from the area around Hoan Kiem Lake and head towards Dinh Tien Hoang Street. From there, follow the same route as a walking guide: Le Thai To Street to Hang Gai Street, then turn left. Ride along Hang Gai and turn right onto Hang Buom Street. Continue straight until you see Mã Mây Street on your left. Heritage House will be located at 87 P. Mã Mây.

• Public Transport

  Although public buses may not drop you directly at Heritage House, you can take a bus that stops near Hoan Kiem Lake. From there, walk as described in the walking instructions above. Buses such as number 09, 01, or 14 can take you close to the lake area.
