Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Hue, start at the famous Trang Tien Bridge (Cầu Tràng Tiền), which is a notable landmark. From the bridge, head east along Le Loi Street until you reach the intersection with Nguyen Hue Street. Turn left onto Nguyen Hue Street and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. Continue walking until you see the entrance to the Imperial City (Dai Noi) on your right. The Stage of Flag is located just outside the Imperial City, so you will need to walk around the walls to reach it. After passing through the entrance gate, continue along the walls until you find the Stage of Flag, which is clearly marked.

  • Cyclo (Bicycle Rickshaw)

    You can hire a cyclo from any central location in Hue. Ask the driver to take you to the 'Stage of Flag' or 'Cờ Đuôi Nheo' if you prefer. The driver will take you through the city, and you can enjoy the sights along the way. The ride should take about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. As you approach the Imperial City, ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance, from where you can walk to the Stage of Flag.
