If you are starting from the center of Hue, head towards Le Loi Street. Walk straight along this road until you reach the intersection with Nguyen Hue Street. Turn left onto Nguyen Hue Street. Continue walking until you see the entrance to Đại Nội on your right. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the city center. From the center, ride along Le Loi Street until you reach Nguyen Hue Street, then turn left. Find a motorbike taxi (Xe ôm) in the city center. Tell the driver you want to go to Đại Nội (or show them the address: FH9H+9CP, Phú Hậu, Tp. Huế). The ride will take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Bus
Take Bus number 1 from the central bus station in Hue. The bus will take you towards the area near Đại Nội. Get off at the nearest stop to Đại Nội and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the entrance. Check local bus schedules for exact timings.
