Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the center of Hue, such as Nguyen Hue Walking Street. Head southeast on Nguyen Hue Street toward Tran Hung Dao Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Le Loi Street. Turn left onto Le Loi Street and continue for another 1 kilometer. Keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Tran Cao Van Street. Take the first exit onto Tran Cao Van Street and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see a sign for the Mausoleum of Emperor Gia Long on your right. Follow the signs and path leading to the mausoleum entrance.

• Cyclo (Pedal Rickshaw)

  From the center of Hue, find a cyclos near tourist areas like the Imperial City or Nguyen Hue Walking Street. Negotiate the fare and instruct the driver to take you to the Mausoleum of Emperor Gia Long. The driver will take you through the streets of Hue, passing landmarks. You will travel southeast through local neighborhoods, and the driver should know the route well. Expect the ride to take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure to have the address handy: 9H6W+PP8, Hương Thọ, Hương Trà, Thừa Thiên Huế.

• Bicycle

  If you choose to rent a bicycle, start from the Imperial City area. Head southeast on Tran Hung Dao Street until you reach the intersection with Le Loi Street. Turn left onto Le Loi and cycle for about 1 kilometer. Turn left again onto Tran Cao Van Street and continue for another 500 meters. Look for the signs leading to the Mausoleum of Emperor Gia Long on your right. The area is bike-friendly, and you can park your bicycle at the entrance.
