Walking
If you are starting from the Fredericksburg Visitor Center located at 706 Caroline St, head south on Caroline St toward William St. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach Lafayette Blvd. Turn right onto Lafayette Blvd. The Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park is located at 1013 Lafayette Blvd, approximately a 0.5-mile walk from the Visitor Center. The total walking distance is about 0.8 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Transportation
From the Fredericksburg Train Station, located at 320 Franklin St, take the FREDericksburg Regional Transit bus (Route 1). Get off at the Lafayette Blvd & William St stop. From there, walk north on Lafayette Blvd for about 0.3 miles. The Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park will be on your left at 1013 Lafayette Blvd. The bus ride is approximately 10 minutes, and the walk is an additional 5-10 minutes.
