Turn left onto George Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Princess Anne Street. Turn right onto Princess Anne Street. Continue walking straight; after crossing over the Rappahannock River via the Princess Anne Street Bridge, you will arrive at the intersection with Willis Street. Turn left onto Willis Street, and the Cobb Monument will be on your right at 536 Willis Street. The walk is approximately 1 mile and should take around 20-25 minutes.

From the downtown area, you can catch the FRED (Fredericksburg Regional Transit) bus. Locate the nearest bus stop on Caroline Street. Board the FRED bus heading towards the Central Park area. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest route information. Get off at the stop closest to Willis Street (ask the driver for the best stop). Once you disembark, walk along Willis Street heading towards 536 Willis Street, where the Cobb Monument is located. The total trip may take around 30-40 minutes including waiting times.
