If you're starting from the Fredericksburg Visitor Center located at 706 Caroline St, head south on Caroline St for about two blocks until you reach William St. Turn left onto William St and walk east for about three blocks until you arrive at the intersection with Sunken Rd. Turn right onto Sunken Rd, and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. Marye's Heights will be on your left, near 514-592 Sunken Rd.
Bicycle
Starting from the Fredericksburg Visitor Center, rent a bicycle from a nearby rental station if available. Head south on Caroline St, then turn left onto William St. Continue east on William St for three blocks. When you reach the intersection with Sunken Rd, turn right and cycle along Sunken Rd for about 0.5 miles. Marye's Heights will be on your left at the address 514-592 Sunken Rd.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Fredericksburg Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Caroline St and William St. Board the bus route that heads to the Marye's Heights area. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the exact route and timings. Once you arrive at the stop closest to Marye's Heights, walk a short distance along Sunken Rd to reach the historical site located at 514-592 Sunken Rd.
