Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location in Middle Peninsula, head towards Route 17 South. Follow the signs for Route 17 and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 199. Take the exit for Route 199 East toward Williamsburg. Continue on Route 199 until you reach the exit for Jamestown Island, which is marked with clear signage. After exiting, follow the road which leads directly to the entrance of Jamestown Island. Be aware that there is an entrance fee for the island, which is approximately $14 per vehicle.

• Public Transportation

  While public transportation options may be limited, you can take a bus from nearby towns to Williamsburg. From the Williamsburg Transportation Center, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Jamestown Island, as direct public transport does not serve the island.
