From the downtown Roanoke bus station, you can take the Valley Metro Bus Route 23. Board the bus heading towards Hollins and get off at the stop nearest to 13th St NE (usually the stop at 13th St NE and Williamson Rd NE). From there, walk 0.2 miles east on 13th St NE, and you will reach Eastgate Park.

If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Roanoke and follow the Greenway along the Roanoke River. When you reach the intersection with 13th St NE, turn right and continue biking north on 13th St NE. Eastgate Park will be on your right after about 1 mile.
