If you are near the Roanoke Civic Center, you can take the Roanoke Valley Transit bus route 11. Board the bus heading towards the Valley View Mall. After 5 stops, get off at the Williamson Road SE stop. From there, walk south on Williamson Road SE for about 0.1 miles, and Elmwood Park will be on your left.

If you prefer to bike, start at the Roanoke River Greenway Trail. Head north on the trail until you reach the 4th Street Bridge. Cross the bridge and turn right onto 4th Street SW. Continue straight until you reach Williamson Road SE, then turn left. Elmwood Park will be on your left after about 0.3 miles.
