If you are driving, start on Skyline Drive, which runs along the ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Shenandoah National Park. You can enter Skyline Drive from either the northern or southern entrances of the park. If you are coming from the northern entrance (Front Royal), head south until you reach Mile Marker 33. If you are coming from the southern entrance (Rockfish Gap), head north until you reach Mile Marker 33. Tunnel Parking Overlook is located at this mile marker. There is a parking area available for visitors to stop and enjoy the view.

For those using public transportation, first, take a bus to Luray, Virginia. From Luray, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the entrance of Shenandoah National Park. Once at the park entrance, you will need to drive along Skyline Drive to reach Tunnel Parking Overlook, approximately 10 miles from the entrance.
