From Town Center, head east on Virginia Beach Blvd (US-58) towards the ocean. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Shore Drive. Turn left onto Shore Drive and continue for about 1 mile. First Landing State Park will be on your left at 2500 Shore Dr. Biking is a popular option, and you can rent bikes at several locations in Town Center.

Start at the Virginia Beach Town Center and walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd and Independence Blvd. Take the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) bus route #20 (Virginia Beach Blvd). Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, getting off at the stop for Shore Drive and First Landing State Park. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. Make sure to check the HRT schedule for current timings and potential fares, which are typically around $2.00 for a one-way trip.
