From Town Center, head to the nearest bus stop located on Virginia Beach Blvd at Central Park Ave. Take the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) Bus Route 20 towards the Virginia Beach Town Center. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop for Parish Road. From there, walk north on Parish Road for about 10 minutes until you reach The Thoroughgood House at 1636 Parish Rd. The bus fare is $1.50 for a one-way trip.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Town Center. Head north on Central Park Ave until you reach Virginia Beach Blvd. Turn left and continue on Virginia Beach Blvd until you reach the intersection with Parish Road. Turn right onto Parish Road and bike for about 5 minutes. The Thoroughgood House will be on your left at 1636 Parish Rd. Most bike rental services charge around $10 for an hour.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Town Center. Head north on Central Park Ave and continue until you reach Virginia Beach Blvd. Turn left and walk along Virginia Beach Blvd for about 0.5 miles. When you reach Parish Road, turn right and walk for another 0.3 miles. The Thoroughgood House will be on your left at 1636 Parish Rd. This walk should take you about 30-40 minutes.
