  If you are in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, start at the visitor center located at 101 Visitor Center Drive. From the visitor center, head east on Visitor Center Drive until you reach the intersection with Richmond Road. Turn left onto Richmond Road and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by various shops and historic sites along the way. As you approach the intersection with Francis Street, look for a sign directing you to the Williamsburg Inn. Turn right onto Francis Street and continue for a short distance; the Williamsburg Inn will be on your left at 136 Francis St E.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority bus. Look for the bus stop closest to your location; routes 1 and 2 typically service the area. Board the bus heading towards the Colonial Williamsburg area. After a few stops, disembark at the stop nearest to the intersection of Francis Street and Richmond Road. From there, walk east on Francis Street for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the Williamsburg Inn on your left at 136 Francis St E.

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Colonial Williamsburg. After securing your bike, head towards the historic area. Follow the designated bike paths as you make your way towards Francis Street. Once you reach the intersection of Richmond Road and Francis Street, turn left onto Francis Street and continue for about 0.3 miles.
