If you're in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, start by heading south from the Visitor Center located at 101 Visitor Center Drive. Walk along the Duke of Gloucester Street (DoG St) towards the east for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by various shops and historic buildings. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with North Henry Street. Turn left onto North Henry Street and walk north. After about 0.2 miles, you will reach the entrance of the College of William & Mary. Enter the college grounds and follow the signs towards the Sunken Garden, which is located near the Botetourt Residence Hall.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. Head south on Visitor Center Drive and then take a right onto DoG St. Continue east on DoG St for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to the College of William & Mary on your left. Enter the campus and ride towards the Sunken Garden, which is located near the Botetourt Residence Hall. The path is bike-friendly.
