Getting There

  • Bus

    From Bellevue Transit Center, take Bus 556 towards Seattle. The bus will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the University of Washington stop. Once you step off the bus, walk east on NE Campus Parkway for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the University of Washington campus.

  • Light Rail

    Start at the Bellevue Transit Center and take Bus 240 or 542 to the nearest Light Rail station, which is the South Bellevue Station. From there, take the Link Light Rail towards Northgate. Get off at the University of Washington Station, which takes about 40 minutes. After exiting the station, walk northeast along Brooklyn Avenue NE for about 10 minutes to reach the main campus.

  • Walking

    If you are staying near downtown Bellevue, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the University of Washington. Head to Bellevue Downtown Park and walk west on NE 4th Street. Continue onto Main Street, then cross the pedestrian bridge to reach the waterfront. From there, follow the path along the water to the I-90 bridge. Cross the bridge and then walk north on Montlake Boulevard NE for about 1.5 miles until you reach the University of Washington campus.
