If you're traveling by car, start from Portland, Oregon. Take I-84 E towards The Dalles. After about 30 miles, take exit 44 for Cascade Locks. Turn left onto Cascade Locks Highway (US-30). Follow the highway for approximately 2 miles until you reach the Dry Creek Falls Trailhead parking area on the right. Note that there may be a small parking fee required, typically around $5.

For those using public transportation, take the MAX Light Rail from downtown Portland to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus service, which operates between Portland and various locations in the Columbia River Gorge. Get off at the Cascade Locks stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1 mile along the Cascade Locks Highway towards the Dry Creek Falls Trailhead. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on certain days.
