Getting There

  • Car

    From anywhere in the Columbia River Gorge, head towards Stevenson, Washington. If you're starting from Hood River, OR, take the Bridge of the Gods across the Columbia River to Washington. Once you reach WA-14, head west. Continue on WA-14 for about 22 miles, and look for the signs for Beacon Rock State Park. The park entrance is located at 34841 WA-14, Stevenson, WA 98648. There is a parking fee of $10 for day use, which can be paid at the entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, first take the Columbia Gorge Express bus service from Portland. This bus will take you to the Columbia River Gorge area, with a stop in Hood River. From Hood River, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to Beacon Rock State Park, as there is no direct public transport to the park. The taxi ride from Hood River to Beacon Rock State Park will take approximately 25 minutes and may cost around $30-$50 depending on the service.
