    If you're driving from downtown Seattle, head north on 1st Avenue towards Denny Way. Turn left onto Denny Way and continue until you reach Aurora Ave N (US-99). Merge onto Aurora Ave N and continue for about 5 miles. Take the exit towards NW 54th St. Turn left onto NW 54th St, and you'll find the Ballard Locks at 3015 NW 54th St on your right.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Ballard Locks using public transportation, start by taking the Link Light Rail from downtown Seattle to the Westlake Station. From Westlake Station, transfer to Bus 29 or Bus 31 heading towards Ballard. Get off at NW 54th St & 30th Ave NW. Walk west on NW 54th St for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Ballard Locks at 3015 NW 54th St.

  • Car

    If you're coming from the University of Washington, head west on NE 45th St. Continue onto 40th Ave NE, then take a right onto NE 55th St. Turn left onto 15th Ave NE, then merge onto WA-520 W. Take the exit for I-5 N toward Vancouver. Follow I-5 N and take the exit for 45th St. Turn left onto 45th St, then turn right onto 15th Ave NW. Follow this road until it becomes NW 54th St, and you’ll reach the Ballard Locks on your left.

  • Public Transportation

    From the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, take the Link Light Rail to Westlake Station in downtown Seattle. From there, catch Bus 40 towards Ballard. Get off at NW 54th St & 30th Ave NW, and walk west on NW 54th St for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the Ballard Locks at 3015 NW 54th St.
