Public Transit

To reach Dr. Jose Rizal Park from Federal Way, start by taking the Sound Transit Link Light Rail from the Federal Way Transit Center. Board the train heading towards the University of Washington. Ride the train for about 25 minutes until you reach the 'Pioneer Square' station. Once you disembark, walk east towards 2nd Ave and then turn left. Continue walking north on 2nd Ave until you reach Yesler Way. Turn right on Yesler Way and walk until you reach 12th Ave S. Turn left on 12th Ave S, and you will find Dr. Jose Rizal Park on your right at 1007 12th Ave S.
Bus

From Federal Way, you can also take a bus to reach Dr. Jose Rizal Park. Start at the Federal Way Transit Center and board the Pierce Transit Bus Route 586 towards Seattle. The ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Get off at the 'S Jackson St & 12th Ave S' stop. From there, walk south on 12th Ave S for about 3 minutes, and you will arrive at Dr. Jose Rizal Park, located at 1007 12th Ave S.
Walking

If you are staying close to downtown Federal Way and prefer to walk, you can follow a scenic route. Start from the Federal Way Commons Mall and head north on 1st Ave S. Continue until you reach S 320th St, then turn left and walk west for about 1 mile until you reach the Sounder Station. From there, take the Sounder train to Seattle. Once in Seattle, follow the public transit directions above to reach Dr. Jose Rizal Park.
