Getting There

  • Bus

    From Kirkland, head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely on Central Way or Kirkland Ave. Take the Metro bus route 255 towards the University District. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'University District Station'. Once there, transfer to the Link Light Rail at the University of Washington station. Board the train heading towards 'Westlake Station'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Westlake Station'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Sky View Observatory. Exit the station and head east on Pine Street, then turn left onto 4th Avenue. The observatory is located at 700 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104.

    If you are near the Kirkland City Center, walk to the Kirkland Transit Center. From there, take the Sound Transit express bus route 542 towards Seattle.
