Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Eatonville, WA. Head east on WA-7 towards Mount Rainier National Park. Continue driving for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with WA-706. Turn left onto WA-706 and continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. Keep in mind that there is an entrance fee of $30 per vehicle, which is valid for seven days. After paying the fee, continue driving to the park’s Longmire area, where you can find parking. From here, follow the signs for the trails leading to Glacier View Wilderness.

If you are relying on public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or other bus service to Eatonville, WA. From Eatonville, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Mount Rainier National Park entrance. Once at the park, you can utilize the park’s shuttle services during the summer months to reach the Longmire area. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance, as it varies by season. The entry fee for the park is $30 per vehicle, so if you're using the shuttle, ensure you have your entry fee ready.
