Car
If you're driving to Comet Falls, start from the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. Enter through the Nisqually Entrance, which is the most popular access point. From the entrance, follow the signs to Longmire via the Paradise Road (SR 706). Continue past Longmire, and then you'll reach the parking area for the Comet Falls Trailhead on your left. The parking lot is relatively small, so arrive early during peak season to secure a spot. There is no fee for parking, but you will need to pay the entrance fee to the park, which is $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Ashford to the park entrance. Use the Pierce Transit services, which typically run during the summer months. Once you arrive at the Nisqually Entrance, follow the previous car directions to reach the Comet Falls Trailhead. Please check the bus schedule in advance as services may not be frequent. Be aware that you may also need to walk a distance from the bus stop to the trailhead.
