If you are driving from Ashford, WA, head east on WA-706 E towards Mount Rainier National Park. Continue on WA-706 for approximately 8 miles until you reach the entrance to the park. After entering the park, follow the signs to the Comet Falls & Van Trump Park Trailhead. You will need to pay for the park entrance, which is $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass. The trailhead is located at the end of the parking area.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Seattle to Ashford, WA. Once you arrive in Ashford, you may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the park entrance, as public transportation does not go directly to the Comet Falls & Van Trump Park Trailhead.
