Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. Use the Nisqually Entrance (the most commonly used entrance) and follow the road signs towards Paradise. Continue on the Paradise Road until you reach the parking area at Paradise. From there, park your car. Note that parking may fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons, so arrive early. If the parking lot is full, you may need to find alternative parking or wait for a spot to open.

Hiking
From the Paradise parking area, you will need to hike approximately 6 miles to reach Indian Henry's Patrol Cabin. Begin on the Skyline Trail, which offers stunning views of Mount Rainier. Follow the trail as it ascends through meadows and forested areas. After about 2 miles, you'll reach the junction with the Indian Henry's Trail. Turn left onto the Indian Henry's Trail, which will lead you through beautiful wildflower areas and eventually to the cabin. The hike is moderately challenging, and it typically takes about 2-3 hours to reach the cabin from Paradise, depending on your pace.
