Car
If you're driving, start from Ashford, WA 98304. Head east on WA-706 E for approximately 12 miles. You will pass through the Mount Rainier National Park entrance. After entering the park, continue on the same road until you reach the junction at the Sunrise area. Follow the signs towards the Sunrise Visitor Center. There is an entrance fee to enter the park, which is $30 per vehicle (valid for 7 days). Once you reach the Sunrise Visitor Center, park your vehicle in the designated parking area.

From the Sunrise Visitor Center, start your hike to Mt. Fremont Fire Lookout. The trailhead is located just behind the Visitor Center.
