Car
If you are driving within Mount Rainier National Park, start on the main park road (WA-706) heading towards Paradise. Continue on WA-706 until you reach the Narada Falls parking area, located approximately 2.5 miles from the junction with the road to Paradise. Look for the sign indicating Narada Falls. There is no entrance fee specifically for the falls, but you may have already paid the park entrance fee, which is $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options directly to Narada Falls are limited. However, if you are near Ashford, WA, you can take a shuttle service that operates during the peak season to various points of interest within Mount Rainier National Park, including the Paradise area. Once you arrive at the Paradise area, you can hike approximately 1 mile down the trail from the parking area to Narada Falls. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance as it varies by season.
Hiking
For those who enjoy hiking, you can access Narada Falls via a trail that begins near the parking area. The hike is relatively short (about 0.5 miles one way) but can be challenging in winter due to snow and ice. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear and possibly bring trekking poles if conditions are slippery. The viewpoint for the falls is well-marked.
