Car
From the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park, head southeast on WA-706 E. Continue on WA-706 E for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with Forest Road 59. Take a left turn onto Forest Road 59 and drive for about 2 miles. Look for the trailhead for Dege Peak on your right. Park in the designated area and prepare for your hike.

If you're using public transportation, first take a bus from the nearest town (Ashford) to the park entrance. Once you arrive at the Mount Rainier National Park entrance, you'll need to arrange for a shuttle service or taxi, as public transit does not reach Dege Peak directly. Request a ride to the Dege Peak trailhead, which is about 2 miles from the junction of WA-706 E and Forest Road 59. Make sure to confirm with the driver to drop you off at the correct location.
