Car
If you are driving from Seattle, take I-5 South towards Tacoma. After about 25 miles, take exit 142A for WA-18 East towards Auburn. Continue on WA-18 for approximately 7 miles. Merge onto I-5 South again and then take exit 142B for WA-509 South. Follow the signs for Dash Point State Park, which is located at 5700 SW Dash Point Rd, Federal Way, WA 98023. Once you arrive, there is a parking fee of $10 for day use.
Public Transportation (Sound Transit)
From downtown Seattle, you can take the Link Light Rail to the Tukwila International Blvd Station. From there, transfer to Sound Transit Bus Route 586 towards Federal Way. Get off at the Dash Point State Park stop. Be sure to check the schedule for bus times as they may vary. The cost for a one-way fare is approximately $3.00.
Carpool/Rideshare
If you prefer a more social approach or wish to save on parking fees, consider using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply enter the destination address (5700 SW Dash Point Rd, Federal Way, WA 98023) in the app, and the driver will navigate to the park.
