Getting There

• Bus

  From downtown Redmond, walk to the nearest bus stop on 164th Ave NE and NE 83rd St. Take the King County Metro Bus Route 542 towards Snoqualmie. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Snoqualmie Park-and-Ride stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Northwest Railway Museum. Head south on Snoqualmie Parkway, then turn left onto SE King St, and the museum will be on your right at 38625 SE King St.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can cycle from Redmond to Snoqualmie. Start by cycling south on the Sammamish River Trail, which will lead you to the East Lake Sammamish Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the South Sammamish Trail. From there, continue to the Snoqualmie area, which is about a 13-mile ride. Once you arrive in Snoqualmie, navigate to SE King St by heading to Snoqualmie Parkway and then turning onto SE King St, where the Northwest Railway Museum is located.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy a long walk, you can walk from the center of Redmond to the museum in Snoqualmie. Start by heading south on 164th Ave NE until you reach SE Redmond Way. Turn right onto SE Redmond Way and follow it as it transitions into Snoqualmie Parkway. Continue on Snoqualmie Parkway for about 6 miles until you reach SE King St. Turn left onto SE King St, and the Northwest Railway Museum will be located at 38625 SE King St on your right.
