Start at downtown Spokane and head to the Spokane Transit Authority (STA) Plaza located at 702 W Riverside Ave. From there, take the STA Route 25 bus towards Nine Mile Falls. The bus will take you along a scenic route. Get off at the stop near the intersection of W Charles Rd and N 9 Mile Rd. From the bus stop, walk west on W Charles Rd for about 0.5 miles. You will see signs for Riverside State Park. The entrance to the park is located at 9711 W Charles Rd.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Spokane. Start at Riverfront Park and head northwest on the Centennial Trail. Follow the trail which will lead you towards the Nine Mile area. You will eventually intersect with W Charles Rd.
