Once you arrive in Hinton, you'll need to transfer to a taxi or rideshare service to reach Bluestone State Park, which is approximately 10 miles away.

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike to Bluestone State Park, start at the center of Bluefield and head northwest on US-52 N. Follow US-52 N for about 10 miles until you reach Hinton. From Hinton, take HC 78 to reach Bluestone State Park. This route may include some steep sections, so be prepared for a challenging ride. The total distance from Bluefield to the park is around 18 miles.

  Walking to Bluestone State Park from Bluefield is a long trek, about 18 miles. Start on US-52 N and follow the same path as you would for biking, heading northwest out of Bluefield. This journey will take several hours, so it is recommended to start early in the morning. Bring plenty of water and snacks, and be prepared for a lengthy walk along the highway.
