From the center of Bluefield, head east on W. Cumberland Road towards the Bluefield City Park. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-52. Cross US-52 and follow the sidewalk along W. Virginia Avenue. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto Maple Avenue and continue for another 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with US-460. At US-460, you will need to cross to the north side. Once across, follow the sidewalk that leads to the Bluefield train station at 3000 S. College Avenue. This is a good spot for rest if needed. From here, you can take a bus or train towards Rocky Gap, VA.

The bus will take you on US-460, and you’ll need to get off at the nearest stop to Rocky Gap. After getting off, walk towards M L Thompson Drive, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
