Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Fayetteville, WV. From downtown Fayetteville, head east on US-19 N. After approximately 5 miles, take the exit for Route 60 E towards Ansted. Follow Route 60 E for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Long Point Road (there will be a sign for Long Point Overlook). Continue on Long Point Road for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area. Be aware that parking is free, but it can get crowded on weekends and holidays.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus to Fayetteville. Once in Fayetteville, you can either take a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Long Point Road entrance. After you arrive at Long Point Road, you will need to park at the designated area. From the parking area, it is a short 0.5-mile hike to the overlook. The trail is well-marked and should take about 15-20 minutes to hike up. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water for the hike.
